We will begin with a walking tour through the Born and the Gothic Quarter, visiting places such as the Cathedral, the narrow streets in the old part of the city>, the Plaza Sant Felip Neri, the Arc de Triomphe and the Plaça St. Jaume, where the City Hall and the headquarters of the Government of Catalonia are located.
Next we will board the bus for a panoramic tour of Barcelona. We will visit the Olympic Village, the Olympic Port, the beach and the fishing neighborhood of Barceloneta, the Port Vell, the Plaza de Colón, where the monument to Columbus is located and where the emblematic walk of Las Ramblas begins, until reaching the mountain of Montjuïc, the most dynamic mountain in the city.
In Montjuïc we will go to the cable car station and you will enjoy an aerial ride with a stunning view of Barcelona. The bus will pick us up again at the arrival station and we will continue our tour passing through the Olympic sports facilities, the Palau Sant Jordi, and the Picornell Olympic swimming pools. Finally we will make a stop at the MNAC viewpoint to quietly contemplate one of the best panoramic views of the city.
We will return to the city center, passing the elegant Paseo de Gracia, where the best-known buildings of Gaudí are located, the Casa Batlló and the Casa Milà (La Pedrera) as well as other majestic buildings of Modernisme.
Complement your visit and take a paella workshop at the end of the tour. You will have the opportunity to learn how to cook the most emblematic dish of Spanish gastronomy. Together with a professional chef, you will make your own paella, which you can enjoy accompanied by a glass of wine.
If you book the excursion with the paella cooking class, the excursion will end at C/ Jaume Puigvert, 13. The transfer to return to the center of Barcelona will not be included.
