The day begins with pick-up from your hotel in Caceres. Our destination: the south, towards the historic province of Badajoz.
In just under an hour, we will arrive at the majestic Proserpina Reservoir, an authentic marvel of Roman engineering. This ancient reservoir supplied water to the legendary Augusta Emerita through the impressive Aqueduct of the Miracles, the first imperial monument we will admire on our Merida tour.
The adventure will continue at the majestic Roman Theater of Merida. Here, we will be amazed by its imposing stage front and the cávea, or tiered seating, which once hosted thousands of spectators. A few steps away, we will delve into the ancient Amphitheater, where gladiators fought epic battles.
The tour continues with a visit to the National Museum of Roman Art, an authentic journey through time that will allow us to immerse ourselves in the society and culture of the capital of the Hispanic province of Lusitania. Afterwards, we will stroll through the charming old town of the city, contemplating architectural gems such as the Temple of Diana and the Arch of Trajan.
Next, we will travel to the Al-Ándalus period, exploring the Arab Alcazaba of Mérida, located on the serene banks of the Guadiana River. We will learn about the fascinating history of this fortress before enjoying an hour of free time for lunch and savoring the delicious local cuisine.
After finishing lunch, we will return to Caceres, concluding an enriching Merida day tour that will have allowed us to walk the paths of history and the glory of ancient Augusta Emerita.

Payment in 2 installments: It will be necessary to pay a first payment of a percentage of the total amount when making the reservation. The second payment of the remaining amount must be made before the day of the activity, on the deadline indicated. In case of reaching this date and the pending amount has not been paid, the reservation will be cancelled and the amount paid initially will be refunded. Please note that this payment method is applied to reservations whose departure date is more than 30 days from the reservation date. For reservations whose departure date is within the following 30 days, 100% of the amount will be charged at the time of booking.
