You will begin Cordoba and Carmona day trip form Seville leaving in the morning to Cordoba. On the way, a few kilometers from Seville, you will take the opportunity to stop at Carmona, one of the most beautiful towns in Andalusia, where Carthaginians, Romans, Muslims and Christians have left an indelible mark. In Carmona you will take a short tour to get to know the most important things about this place.
After a brief visit to Carmona, you will arrive in Cordoba, this city that was the most populous in the world offers us an enormous cultural and historical legacy. Once there, the guide will accompany you to discover the old quarter, declared a World Heritage Site.
You will visit the Jewish quarter, with its narrow streets and white houses full of flowers and the only synagogue in Andalusia, the Roman Bridge and the Tower of the Calahorra. You will also walk along the other part of the historic center of the city where you can discover less touristy places such as Plaza de la Corredera, Las Tendillas, Cristo de los Faroles or the famous Cordoba’s courtyards.
At the end of the walking tour you will have time to have lunch (not included) and take a break before visiting the Mosque-Cathedral , the most important jewel of Islamic art that has survived to this day, declared a World Heritage Site. To visit the Mosque, cradle of the Umayyad splendor with its brilliant golden mosaics and the endless "forest of columns", you will have your entrance and a complete audio guide in English (between other languages).
After visiting the Mosque of Cordoba, you will have free time for shopping, or simply to relax walking around the city.
