We invite you to discover in this charming region the site of the royal family summer residence: the Sintra National Palace, a unique monument for its historical, architectural and artistic value.
Of all the palaces erected throughout the Middle Ages by the Portuguese monarchs, only the one of Sintra has remained practically intact to this day, preserving the essence of its configuration and silhouette since the middle of the sixteenth century.
After the visit to the palace, you will have free time to stroll through the craft shops or try the famous sweets of Sintra.
Then we will head to Cabo da Roca, he westernmost point of Europe, where we stop before going down the coast to the famous beach of Guincho, the favorite beach of surfers. Please note that Cabo da Roca will only be visited from Mar 1 to Oct 31.
We will arrive at Cascais, a small coastal town perfect for an afternoon strolling through the narrow streets of the old town. Among the highlights of the city are the wave of Boca do Inferno and the magnificent panorama over the bay of Cascais and the adjacent coast.
On the way back to Lisbon, we pass by Estoril, home to the famous Casino and its lovely gardens.
