You will enjoy a walking tour of the most important sites in the city, such as the Souk, the Medina and the Kasbah, learning all about the rich culture of Morocco. Then, you will take a bus to travel along the maritime coasts, admiring the best panoramic views of Tangier. The tour also includes a delicious traditional lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant.
After an easy bus ride from Malaga, we will arrive at the port of Tarifa, where we will get on a Fast Ferry to cross the Strait of Gibraltar. Once we have arrived in Tangier, we will begin with an amazing panoramic tour along the maritime coasts, by passing through the Avenida Mohamed V, the Severo Ochoa Institute, the Portuguese, American, Italian and Spanish neighborhoods, the famous Royal Palace and the Roman Necropolis of Punic.
Then, we will explore the Medina, the historic center of the city that still retains its area of walls with circular towers, and the Kasbah, the former Governor's Palace, now converted into the Tangier Museum. In the Small Souk you will find a wide variety of Mediterranean fruits and vegetables, spices, dried fruits, etc.
Next, we'll take a stop at a typical Moroccan restaurant, to enjoy a delicious traditional lunch.
After lunch, we will visit the Bazaar, where you can appreciate the different types of Moroccan carpets and other local crafts. You will have free time for shopping.
Finally, we will return to the port of Tarifa to begin the way back to Malaga, thus ending this incredible Tangier day trip.
