We propose you to know two of the emblems of the city of Málaga, the Roman Theater and the Alcazaba . A unique opportunity to get closer to the history of two crucial moments for the city, the Roman times of Augustus and the Muslim period.
In the first place we will visit the Interpretation Center of the Roman Theater , which will bring us closer to the life and customs of the time. Then, already inside, we will cross the grandstand that will transport us to the Roman Malaga of the times of Augustus.
Next to it, at the foot of Mount Gibralfaro is the Alcazaba , which we will access by going up the inside of its wall, passing through the Puerta del Arco de Cristo. Already in the upper part we will visit different stays like the Patio de Armas , used in the time of Catholic Kings or the Quarters of Granada .
A magnificent experience in which you will know the reasons for the construction of this Palace-Fortress, its extensions, reforms, curiosities and by whom it was inhabited.
Finally, from the Alcazaba, we will enjoy its breathtaking views, including the Gibralfaro Castle, a key element for centuries for the defense of the Alcazaba and the city of Malaga.
