Don't miss this day trip to the Douro Valley, the charming and unique region in the North of Portugal that is defined by having been the first wine region demarcated in the world, whose landscape has been declared UNESCO World Heritage.
After leaving your hotel in Porto in the morning, we will arrive in Lamego, where we will enjoy free time to explore the place and visit the impressive Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remedios, with its more than 600 baroque steps.
We will continue to Amarante, Régua , where we will take a break to have lunch with the delicious typical dishes of the area, accompanied by local wines.
Later, we will arrive at Pinhão, in the heart of the Douro wine region, from where you can contemplate the spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes.
The last stop of the excursion, before returning to Porto, will be for a visit and wine tasting at the Quinta do Tedo estate (or similar).
