The tour will begin by walking through the Anaya Square, in front of the impressive Cathedral of Salamanca. We will stop visiting the inside of the Anaya College, headquarters of the Faculty of Philology and one of the few neoclassical palaces that are preserved in the city.
Without further delay, we will visit the Cathedral of Salamanca , actually, we will visit 2 merged cathedrals: the Old Cathedral and the New Cathedral . Our guide will tell you the curiosities of this key monument, while we make a thorough tour of the interior, admiring its treasures and main rooms.
We will continue walking through the old town until we reach the famous Calle Libreros , which will take us to the University , where we will make an exhaustive search of a curious animal that hides in its facade. Will you be able to find it? Inside the building we will visit the courtyards of smaller schools , the curious painting "the sky of Salamanca" and the school yard older.
The next stop will be at the Casa de las Conchas , where we will visit this sixteenth century urban palace. Strolling between squares and old Renaissance palaces, we will arrive at the Plaza Mayor, where we will finish the Salamanca walking tour.
