Join us on this Porto day trip from Santiago de Compostela and get to know one of the most important cities in Portugal. We will leave Santiago at 8:00 am in the direction of Porto, where we will arrive at approximately 10:00 am (Portuguese time).
Once in Porto, we will take a guided tour of the city (2h 30 min) departing from the famous and central Praça da Liberdade and touring the old town of Porto. We will visit the Cathedral, one of its main and oldest monuments, being the main symbol of Porto Catholicism.
We will continue towards the Ribera of Porto, one of the most beautiful areas of the city, where the colorful facades of the houses on the banks of the river stand out. You can take the opportunity to take photos and enjoy the views of the Bridge of Luis I and Vila Nova da Gaia.
The train station of São Bento will be our next stop, especially known for its panels of more than 20,000 tiles, which represent moments of the history of Portugal.
The Church of the Clérigos and its bell tower, National Monument since 1910, constitute one of the most emblematic places of the city. From the viewpoint of the tower you have the best views of Oporto (you can visit it, optionally, paying the 3 euros of the ticket).
After finishing the Porto tour, you will have free time to eat and walk around the city. Then we will go to Vilanova de Gaia, where we will taste the famous Port wine, with a tasting of a white and a red wine.
Finally, we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the Ribera del Duero in Vilanova de Gaia, before starting the return to Santiago de Compostela to finish our tour at 8:30 p.m. (Spanish time).

Please note that only payments in local currency will be accepted (for example in Spain only EUROS will be accepted).
Payment in 2 installments: It will be necessary to pay a first payment of a percentage of the total amount when making the reservation. The second payment of the remaining amount must be made before the day of the activity, on the deadline indicated. In case of reaching this date and the pending amount has not been paid, the reservation will be cancelled and the amount paid initially will be refunded. Please note that this payment method is applied to reservations whose departure date is more than 30 days from the reservation date. For reservations whose departure date is within the following 30 days, 100% of the amount will be charged at the time of booking.
