Bilbao, Oviedo, La Coruña and Santiago de Compostela are just some of the cities that you will meet with this fantastic Northern Spain trip, departing from Madrid. A perfect 8-day itinerary through Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country.
The trip includes all transfers, bed and breakfast in hotels, so you have zero hassles and you can enjoy your holiday as you deserve.
- 1st Day (Sunday) MADRID - ZARAGOZA - PAMPLONA
We will depart from our terminal in Madrid in the morning for the city of Zaragoza, where we will make a short stop to visit the famous Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, patron saint of Hispanicity. On our way, we will reach Pamplona.
We will have free time until dinner time (included). Accommodation in the hotel in Pamplona.
- 2nd Day (Monday) PAMPLONA - SAN SEBASTIAN - BILBAO - SANTANDER
Breakfast. Departure for San Sebastián, one of the most elegant cities in northern Spain. Free time to stroll along La Concha Bay or enjoy its old town. We will say goodbye to San Sebastian and leave for Bilbao, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, known mainly for its avant-garde Guggenheim Museum. After a short stop to admire this work from outside, we will return to Santander, a must-see destination!
The afternoon will be free so you can walk its streets to your liking or enjoy its spectacular beaches.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
- 3rd Day (Tuesday) SANTANDER - SANTILLANA DEL MAR - COVADONGA - OVIEDO
Breakfast at the hotel. We will leave Santander behind and take the route to the city of Santillana del Mar , in Cantabria, considered a National Monument. There we will make a short stop and then continue until we reach Covadonga, where we will have free time to visit its renowned Sanctuary, surrounded by the unique natural environment of the Picos de Europa. Afterwards, we will head to Oviedo, the capital of the principality of Asturias and our last stop of the day.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Oviedo.
- 4th Day (Wednesday) OVIEDO - LA CORUÑA - SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast at the hotel. We will leave early to La Coruña, a must-stop city on our tour of Northern Spain. After a panoramic tour of its most attractive sites, we will continue to Santiago de Compostela. We will have dinner and overnight accommodation at a hotel in Santiago.
- 5th Day (Thursday) SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
After breakfast we will leave for Santiago de Compostela, an important pilgrimage center, and undoubtedly one of the most visited cities in Spain. We will tour Santiago with the help of a local guide, on a guided tour that will take us through the Plaza del Obradoiro, the Cathedral, the Rua de Franco and other must-see places in the historic center.
The afternoon will be completely free for you to continue discovering Santiago on your own.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
- 6th Day (Friday) SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA - RIAS BAJAS - VIGO
After breakfast we will leave on our way to the Rías Bajas, located on the west coast of Galicia, crossing the fabulous landscapes of the Isla de Toja, the Ria de Arosa and Pontevedra. We will make a short stop on the Isla de la Toja and continue until we reach O Grove, where we can optionally enjoy a catamaran tour along the estuary, with mussels and wine tasting. In this part of the tour we will offer you an optional tour to Santa Tecla and Valença do Miño, crossing the Portuguese border.
Finally we will head to the city of Vigo, our last stop of the day, in neighbouring Portugal. Accommodation in the hotel in Vigo.
- 7th Day (Saturday) VIGO - LEÓN
Breakfast. Departure for the interior of Castile and León, arriving in León, a historic city with a remarkable artistic heritage. Free time to visit its Gothic cathedral or stroll through the old town. Dinner and overnight stay.
- 8th Day (Sunday) LEÓN - SALAMANCA - MADRID
On the last day of our Northern Spain tour, after breakfast, we will leave León to arrive in the city of Salamanca, where we will have free time to visit the old town and the Plaza Mayor, icon of the city. Then we will resume the road to Madrid.
In the afternoon we will arrive in the Spanish capital, where our Northern Spain trip ends.

On the departure of July 12th, they will spend the night in a city near Pamplona.
In the exceptional event of not having availability in the mentioned hotels, these will be replaced by another of a similar category. We will confirm the final hotels in advance of the tour departure.

- The tour includes in the price a visit with an official guide to the most important cities. However, our guide will offer you some excursions or complementary visits that may be of interest to you. These are not included in the price of the tour, they are paid at the destination and a minimum number of people is needed to guarantee the tour departure.
- The tours are always guaranteed in English, although they may exceptionally be conducted in English and a second language simultaneously.
- Please make sure your passport or D.N.I. they are valid and in order (recommended passport with a minimum validity of 6 months) and that you have processed the required visas for each country, if necessary.
- Children under 4 years old have a free fare on the bus, without the right to bed, sharing a room with two adults. The expenses incurred must be paid by their parents.

Cancellation up to 15 days before the date of the activity: no charge & 100% refund / Between 15 and 11 days: 95 % refund/ Between 10 and 3 days: 85 % refund / Less than 3 days, late arrival or no show: no refund will be provided.

We will pick you up at the terminal of Calle Ferraz 3, very close to the Temple of Debod. All the details of the starting point will be indicated on the voucher of your booking.
