You will meet the guide at Santa Ana Square and from here we will start walking the narrow streets of Albaicín , considered one of the most charming quarters in Granada. It was in this place that Zirí, the first Muslim court, was erected in the XI century.
While we walk through its cobblestone streets and you delight with the delicate scent of jasmine, the guide will tell you anecdotes about this peculiar neighborhood of Granada, declared by UNESCO World Heritage in 1984, at the same time as the Alhambra.
We will discover its origins by seeing one of the oldest monuments in the city, the remains of the Zirí Wall of the 3rd century BC, and we will also arrive to the heart of the Albaicín to contemplate the Aljibe de Trillo, a cistern from the Nazari period of the 14th century.
